What is FSCD?

Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) is a government program in Alberta designed to assist families with children who have special needs.

 

Recognizing that families are the primary care and support for their children, FSCD focuses on family-centered services. These services are designed to provide support in everyday activities and experiences, contributing to the child's life and educational journey.

 

By offering assistance to the families, FSCD aims to improve the quality of life for children with disabilities, enhancing their skill development and facilitating their participation in meaningful activities.
